Mushroom Kuruma

Good with:
Parotta, Idyappam, Dosa

Seasoning:
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Bay leaf - 1
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tsp

Masala:
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Ground Paste:
Cashews - 4
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp (Soak for 15 minutes)

Other Ingredients:
Onion - 2
Green chilly - 2
Tomato - 3
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Mushroom - 20 small size
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Salt - as per taste
Oil - 2 tsp

Method:
1. Add 2 tsp of oil and season the items listed above
2. Add onion, green chilly. Fry till translucent
3. Add Ginger Garlic paste and Turmeric
4. Add tomato and salt. Fry till oil separates out
5. Add rest of the powders listed above
6. Add the Mushroom, close the lid for 2 minutes
7. Add some water and allow it cook for sometime, till the Mushroom is cooked
8. Once the Mushroom is cooked add the ground paste
9. Leave it for 5 minutes and Garnish with coriander leaves
