Masala dosa

Dosa Recipe

Batter Ingredients:
Idly Rice - 3/4 cup
Urad dal - 1/4 cup
Chana Dal - 2 tsp
Toor dal - 2 tsp
Methi seeds - 1/2 tsp

Soak all the above for 6-7 hrs. Grind it along with 1/4 cup Poha (soaked). I used thick poha.
Keep it overnight.let it ferment for abut 12 hrs next day add salt to the batter n prepare dosa


Masala Recipe

Seasoning:
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Channa dal - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig

Other Ingredients:
Potato(cooked) - 3
Onion - 1
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Green chilly -5
water- 1/2 cup
coriander leaves

Method:
  1. Cook potatoes and mash it coarsely.
  2. Heat oil/ghee in a pan, splutter mustard, add channa, urad dal leave it for few minutes and curry leaves and Jeera
  3. Then add onion, green chillies. Saute till onion becomes translucent.
  4. Add the mashed potato, coriander leaves.
  5. Add Salt and 1/2 cup water and stir well. Leave it for boil and take the pan from heat.
