Seasoning:
Ghee - 2 tsp
Cinnamon stick - 2
Cardamon - 3
Cloves - 5
Bay leaf - 2

Other Ingredients:
Onion (thin length slice) - 1 medium
Basmati rice - 2 cups (rice cooker cup)
Coconut milk - 2 cups
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Garlic peeled - 6 to 7 clove
Green chillies - 5
Cashews - 10
Water  2 cups
Salt - as per taste
Coriander for garnishing

Method :
  1. Clean the basmati rice and soak it in coconut milk for 10 to 15 mts .
  2. In a pan heat some ghee and fry Cinnamon,cloves, bay leaf and cardamom.
  3. Then add onions followed by ginger garlic paste. Stir well till the raw smell vanishes.
  4. Followed by green chilly, garlic, Cashews and combine well. Fry for few minutes so that the garlic gets roasted.
  5. For those who wants to add some veggie’s can go ahead and add it now.
  6. Transfer this mixture straight to the rice soaking in coconut milk and add the remaining amount of water specified.
  7. Cook it in a rice cooker or pressure cooker and garnish with coriander leaves.
