Seasoning:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Channa dal/Kadalai parupu - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Hing - a generous pinch
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Red chilli - 3
Other Ingredients:
Onion small -1
Yellow pumpkin - 1 lb
Coconut - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:

Yellow pumpkin - 1 lb
Coconut - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Peel the outer layer and cut pumpkin into small bite size peices.
- Heat oil in a pan and add all the tempering items one by one.
- Then add onion and cook till becomes translucent.
- Then add yellow pumpkin and salt. Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
- Do not overcook the pumpkin. If require sprinkle some water.
- Once the pumpkin is tender add coconut, coriander leaves. Switch off the heat.
