Nandu Thokku / Crab Masala

Goes well with: Rice

Seasoning:
Fennel seed/Sombu - 1/2 tsp
Pattai - 1 inch piece
Curry leaves - a sprig

Other Ingredients:
Crab - 3 big (Shell removed and cleaned)
Onion - 1 big
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green Chilli - 2
 Tomatoes - 2 small

Masala powders:
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp based on your preferance

Ground paste:
Coconut - 3tsp
Green chilli - 1
fennel seed - 1/2 tsp


Method:
1. Add oil in large pan and add the seasoning.
2. Once the fennel seeds splutter, add sliced onion and fry till it turns brown
3. Then add Ginger garlic paste, Green chilli and diced tomatoes
4. Once the tomatoes are mushy, add all the masala powders and salt.
5. Now add the crab and cook till it turms the color to red/pink
6. Then add the ground paste and check for taste.
7. Cook till raw smell of coconut goes and garnish with coriander leaves.
