Dry roast and grind:
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
Dry chilli - 6 or more
Clove - 2
Cinnamon - 1 small
Aniseed - 1/2
Cardamon - 1
Coconut - 2 tsp
You can powder without coconut and keep it for long time.
Seasoning:
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
channa dal - 1/2 tsp
Dry Red chilli - 1
Cashews/Peanuts - 7-10 nbrs
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Other Ingredients:
Cooked rice - 1 cup
Brinjal - 7-8 small (you can add other veggies i prefer to add a potato)
Tamarind pulp - 1/2 tsp (can be replaced with lemon water too)
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:
- Pressure cook rice and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, Add all the seasoning items.
- Add potato 5 mins before adding brinjal (if u wanna add potato)
- Add turmeric powder. Close the lid and cook the veggies in low heat.
- Once the brinjal is cooked, add salt, ground paste and cook it for 2 minutes.
- Now add the rice and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
