Seasoning:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Dry Chilli -3
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Cashews - 5 broken
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Hing - a generous pinch
Other ingredients:
Green chilli - 4
Garlic - 4 pods chopped
Onion - 1/2 chopped
Tomato - 3 chopped
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Cooked rice - 1 cup
Salt - as per taste
Cilantro for garnishing
Method:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Method:
- Pressure cook the rice and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and add all the remaining items of seasoning in the same order.
- Then add green chilli, Garlic and onion. Fry for 2 minutes.
- Then add tomatoes, salt and red chilli.
- Close the lid and cook till tomatoes are done.
- That's it, Mix the rice and garnish with coriander leaves.
