Pudalankkai fry/Snake Gourd Fry

Seasoning
Oil - 3 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - a pinch

Other Ingredients:
Snake gourd/Podalangai - 1
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
salt - as per taste

Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard and hing.
  • Add chopped snake gourd and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Close the lid and half cook the veggie
  • Stir the veggie occasionally.
  • Remove the lid and cook till its fully done.
  • Add chilli powder and fry for 2 minutes.
  • You can also use capsicum and squash(kovakkai) in the same method.
