Seasoning:
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Other Ingredients:
Toor Dal - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Green chilli - 6
Garlic - 6 pods
Onion - one medium
Tomato - 1 medium
Veggie - Drumstick, Radish, chow chow etc
Sambar powder - 2 tsp
Tamarind water - lemon size
Cilantro - Garnishing
Salt - as per taste
Method:
Cook Toor dal, Garlic pods, Green chilli, Turmeric for 3 whistles.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Add onion and tomato, cook till becomes transparent.
Add sambar powder and Tamarind water
Add veggie (you can cook separately in microwave).
Once the veggie is cooked add Toor dhal.
Add enough water and check salt.
Leave it to boil and Garnish with Cilantro
