Seasoning:
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Ground Paste:
Coconut - 3 tsp
Pottu Kadalai/Besan - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Other Ingredients:
Okra - 1/4 kg
Tamarind water - lemon size
Shallot - 15
Green chilli - 6
Salt - as per taste
Cilantro - Garnishing
Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and curry leaves.
After seasoning, add onion and green chilli. Fry for 2 minutes.
Add Ladies finger and fry till its half cooked.
Add tamarind water and ground paste.
Cook till the raw smell of besan goes.
Add enough water and salt.
Cook and garnish with cilantro.
