Vendakkai Puli kulambu

Best with:
Side with Uppu parupu rice and curd rice

Seasoning:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Hing - a pinch
Curry leaves - a sprig
Fenugreek seeds - 10(if you add more, it will add bitterness)
Red chilli - 6

Other Ingredients:
Onion - 1 medium
Garlic - 5 pods
Tomato - 1 Medium
Tamarind extract - 1 lemon size
Okra - 1/2 pound
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
salt - as per taste

Method:
Heal oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds.
Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and hing.
Once roasted add red chilli, curry leaves, onion and garlic.
Fry till onions turn translucent.
Then add okra and fry for sometime.
Once okra is half cooked, add tamarind extract and turmeric powder.
Cook for 15 - 20 minutes in medium heat.
