Bheemavaram Spicy Chicken

Chicken Marination:
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Chicken - 1 pound
Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Curd - 2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp

Ground paste:(Fry in oil and grind)
Cloves- 6
Cardamom -3
Cinnamon - 2
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Chopped Small onion - 20

Other Ingredients:
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Oil for deep fry
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Tomato puree - 1

Garnishing:
Cashews - 10
Red chilli - 2
Ghee - 1 tsp

Method:
  • Marinate the chicken and keep it for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan, prepare ground paste.
  • Add corn flour in the marinated chicken. Deep fry the chicken in medium heat.
  • In the mean time heat oil in a pan, add the ground paste, remaining ginger garlic paste.
  • Then add 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 chilli powder and 1/2 tsp garam masala.
  • Once the masala is cooked add tomato puree. Cook till oil oozes out.
  • Now add fried chicken and mix well.
  • In the meantime add ghee in a small pan, roast cashew and red chilli for garnishing.
Spicy chicken is ready ;-)
