Seasoning:
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Hing - a generous pinch
Red chilli - 2
Curry leaves - few
Other Ingredients:
Toor dal - 1/2 cup
Garlic - 4
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Onion medium - 1
Green chilli - 4
Tomato finely chopped - 2
Salt - as per taste
coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:

Method:
- Pressure cook toor dal, turmeric, garlic pods for 3 whistles. Once done Mash well and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and do the tempering mentioned in seasoning section one by one.
- Now add onion, green chilli and fry till it becomes translucent.
- Then add tomatoes cook till becomes mushy.
- Finally add cooked dal into the pan. Add required salt and garnish with coriander leaves.
