Ingredients:
Bitter melon/Bitter gourd - cut into thin slices and remove seeds
Sliced onions - 1 small
Slit green chilli - 4
Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - handful
Masala powders:
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Seasoning:
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 5-6 leaves
Method:
Bitter melon/Bitter gourd - cut into thin slices and remove seeds

Method:
- I soak the sliced Bitter gourd in salt water for 10 minutes to remove the bitterness.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, add urad dal, curry leaves, sliced onions and green chilli.
- Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder.
- Once the raw smell of ginger garlic paste is gone add bitter gourd.
- Saute the bitter melon for few minutes.
- Then add the remaining masala powder. Close the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
- Then add sugar and fry for some more time with Open lid
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
