Chicken Thokku

Seasoning:
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds- 1 tsp
Cloves -4
Cinnamon - 1inch
Bay Leaves - 2

Ingredients :
Chicken     2 lb
Big Onion - 2
Green Chili- 2
Curry Leaves    
Tomato - 4
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4tsp
Coriander Powder     2 tsp
Cumin Powder     1 tsp
Red Chili Powder     1 tsp
Ground Pepper     1 tbsp
Coriander Leaves     1/2 cup

Method:
  1.     In a pan heat 3 tsp oil. Add all the seasoning
  2.     In a heavy bottom non-stick pan heat oil. When hot, splutter Mustard.
  3.     Then add Cumin seeds, Cloves, Cinnamon, Bay Leaves and fry for a minute.
  4.     Add onion, fry till onion is golden brown color.
  5.     Add turmeric, ginger garlic paste, Green chili and curry leaves.
  6.     Fry till the raw smell from ginger garlic paste leaves.
  7.     Then add chopped tomatoes, Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder.
  8.     Fry till the masala is cooked and the tomatoes become soft and mashed well.
  9.     Then add Chicken, stir well and keep the lid closed for 5 to 10mins.
  10.     Add salt and water if needed.    Add Pepper powder and coriander leaves once chicken gets cooked well.
