Goes with: Rice, Dosa, Idli
Seasoning:
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Other Ingredients:
Green chilli - 3 sliced
Onion - 1 chopped
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Drumstick - 3 (chopped into 2" pieces)
Masala Powders:
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder -1 tsp
Method:
1. Heal oil in a pan, Add all the seasoning.
2. Once the cumin splutters add onion, green chilli.
3. Cook till onion turns color, then add turmeric and ginger garlic paste.
4. Then add drumsticks
5. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes by lowering the heat
6. Then add all the masala powders and tomatoes.
7. Close the lid again and cook till tomatoes are mushy.
8. Add enough water and leave it to a boil.
9. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
